There are a few things you will want to know about CAS!

The people involved in CAS

Supervisors

They monitor your CAS experience, and give a brief written statement to certify that you have completed a CAS experience!

The supervisor can be an internal teacher at SIS (such as your tutor) or an external teacher/coach/leader (it cannot be your parents)

CAS Interviews

The CAS interviews are an IB requirement. The word 'interview' is scary, but don't worry about it!

In the interview you will discuss:

Your progress
Your engagement
What stage you are at with CAS

Interview 1

OCTOBER/NOVEMBER

Complete your Planning section on MyCAS.
Begin your journal reflections.
Articulate your ideas for CAS and what you want to do!

Interview 2

MAY/JUNE

Evidence of regular CAS documented and up to date.
Ideally have completed 1 CAS project.
Be able to articulate what you've achieved in CAS thus far.

Interview 3

JANUARY

Completed CAS planning section on the MyCAS portfolio.
Begun journal entries, kept up to date.
Be able to articulate ideas for CAS and where your talents and interests lie.
Talk about your successes and growth since embarking on the CAS journey.
